Cyriax concept – is a diagnostic and therapeutic method applied to problems of the musculoskeletal system. Successful end to the problems that arise as a result of injuries or degenerations of the muscles, tendons and cartilage. The techniques used by Cyriax are:
• friction massage
Mulligan concept – is a therapeutic technique used to treat injuries and sprains caused by changes in the position of the joint, which causes pain as such, and reduced mobility. The technique is aimed at restoring normal pain-free range of motion in the joint.
McKenzie – the goal of this method is the reduction or complete elimination of pain and spine problems, mobility increase and strengthening the corresponding musculature.
PIR (postisometric relaxation) – a physiotherapy technique that is a very effective method for relaxation of painful, tense “shortened” muscles. We use it to prepare the patient before treatment of mobilization – manipulation of the joints, although sometimes PIR itself is enough to relieve the patient’s pain and the painful tension in the muscles.
K-Tape – is a therapeutic technique that is used for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions (especially sports injuries), using the elastic adhesive tape. The main effects are: the prevention of injury muscles and soft connective tissue (tendons and ligaments), eliminates pain, removes large hematoma, improves blood and lymph circulation.
