Magnetotherapy

The use of magnets for therapeutic purposes is over a thousand years old, but in the 19th century began tests about the activity of high frequency currents in the body. The magnetic field appears intermolecularly by circular flow due to sudden changes in the electric field.
The electromagnetic fields may increase the energy metabolism and increase partial pressure of oxygen. It has the effect of fresh trauma, unhealed fractures, joint disease, diseases of different etiologies and in Sudeck dystrophy.
Indications for use include: joint diseases, injury of soft tissues and bones, especially Sudeck algodystrophy, and contraindications are acute circulatory disorders, coronary insufficiency, Pacemaker, pregnancy, acute infection and fungal diseases.
